“The Antinori family originally comes from Val di Sieve, area in which they owned a few castles in the Middle Ages. During the war between Guelphs and Ghibellines, they suffered considerable damages and therefore decided to move to Florence, where already many prominent families of the countryside had moved to.
The Antinori family has been making wine for over six hundred years, since 1385, when Giovanni di Piero Antinori became part of the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri.
Throughout its long history, throughout 26 generations, the family has always directly managed the business with innovative, and sometimes courageous choices; always keeping tradition and territory unaltered.
Prestigia Rooms is just a few steps away from Piazza Antinori.”
